Updating Vendor Pricing Instructions

The disk you receive will change the prices in your Windows inventory program.

If you received a CDROM, you must copy the file to your hard drive first. Check to see that Windows copied it with the 'read only" attribute turned off. You can check this by right mouse clicking on the file, then select properties.

1.      When the inventory program is running, click on the menu called Utilities, then update prices (with disk).

2.      Now, select the location of the actual file you copied above, and highlight the file called “PriceUpdate.mdb”

3.      Click on each vendor 1 & 2 button to update the prices.

When each vendor’s prices have been updated, you will see a list of part numbers on the screen. This list represents the part numbers that were NOT updated. This is because the part numbers in your inventory program do not exist in our price update disk. Remember, the part numbers have to be exact for them to be updated.

Also, it is possible the parts in your database no longer exist from Brunswick or AMF.

For example: If you changed a part number from 12-100103-000 to 12-100103, then it is not an exact match, and the computer will not update your custom part numbers.
